About Wood & Co.

  • Wood & Co. is located in Ronkonkoma, right at the middle of Long Island, New York, USA. From here, we design and fabricate your custom cabinets in our humble workshop. To get to know us in more detail, check out our About Us page.

  • From our workshop in Ronkonkoma, we proudly serve areas on Long Island and New York City. We’ve completed projects in Manhattan, Upper East Side, East Hampton, South Hampton, and many more.

  • Wood & Co. offers a wide range of services from design to manufacturing, and delivery to installation of custom cabinets and specialty interiors. We work on various project types, whether it’s for your kitchen, bathroom, a whole home, or an office.

    We also offer architectural rendering services which include visualizations, virtual tours, and shop drawings.

About the Design/Fabrication/Installation Process

  • Regardless of the scope of your project, the first step is to get in touch with us. Feel free to call or us or drop us an email to schedule a consultation. We can then work out the details of your project with you and see what the best way forward will be.

  • The cost of your project depends greatly on a number of factors and varies from project to project. Some of these factors include, project scope, design style, choice of accessories, materials, and many more.

    Rest assured, we only employ quality materials and construction techniques in our projects. We pride ourselves in our craftsmanship, expertise, and a high degree of personalization for each of our works. You can feel at ease that every dollar put into your new kitchen, bathroom, or any interior space will be a worthwhile investment.

  • Just like with cost, this will vary from project to project as there are many factors to consider. If you have any scheduling concerns, such as a target completion date or other ongoing renovations in your home, we can find ways to work it out. We’ll be able to give you a better estimate once we’ve gone over the details with you during a consultation.

About Post-Installation

  • Cleaning your cabinetry should be part of your daily routine to ensure your cabinets look good for a long time. In general, clean up spills as quickly as possible, regularly dust with a soft cloth, and never use harsh abrasives or strong chemicals when cleaning.

  • Generally speaking, high quality cabinets can last you up to 20 years if well-cared for and properly maintained. However, many factors come can affect your cabinet’s such as relative humidity, materials used, and how often they are used. Painted cabinets, for example, may need refinishing within 10 years. Using certain cleaning products may also dull the finish of your cabinets over time.

    Another factor to consider is the lifespan of built-in appliances, if you have any. Depending on the specific item and frequency of use, you may need to replace an appliance in 7-10 years.
